Residents for a United Franklin County.
We’re a locally organized 501c(3) who believe political responsibility only works for We The People when you’re informed and involved. We host events for the community to learn together, speak for themselves, and make change happen- sharing ideas, dreams, and information that support the people and places of Franklin County.
FCRC is joining in the state-wide coordinated effort of Missouri Rural Crisis Center and MO Worker’s Center to gather at the capitol in Jeff City for The People’s Hearing on Data Centers.
What to Expect
When: September 16th @ 1PM-3PM CST
Where: Missouri Capitol Rotunda, 201 W. Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, MO 65101 US
What: Wear red, fill the rotunda in numbers, attend the special session prepared to learn and ask questions!
Why…
“From Festus to Joplin, we all deserve the freedom to live in healthy communities, make a good living, and have a say-so in the decisions that affect our lives. But certain state lawmakers are doing the bidding of tech billionaires and developers who want to rake in record profits by running roughshod over our communities, to build dirty data centers that make their CEOs richer at the expense of our jobs, our water and energy, and our way of life. So we're taking our message directly to them during the special session in September. Join MRCC and the No MO Dirty Data Centers Coalition to pack the Capitol Rotunda in Jeff City and make our voices heard. Together, we can make Missouri a place that works for all of us, no exceptions!”

Yet, voter turnout for these elections are neglected due to minimal media coverage and awareness of impacts.
